Meet Eriksen and Soren Dickens, the filmmakers who own and operate the award-winning media agency, ‘Platinum Peek Productions’.
From a dorm room to trips around the world, from small projects to international film festivals, the Dickens brothers have scaled their media agency to staggering new heights over the last four years.
Unique, creative people with relentless determination are the ones that eventually achieve success. The two brothers, Eriksen and Soren started their venture in 2016 in a dorm room at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. These young minds with a passion and skill for creation and technology, worked hard and moreover, built a career in something they truly love. In the beginning, their work encompassed a wide range of products – music videos, documentaries, events, promotional videos, drone work for real estate agents, short films and much more. Their style and unique flair quickly spurned the growth of their media agency throughout the Central Coast of California.
However, despite their success, the brothers still struggled to maintain a consistent influx of jobs. This all changed in 2020. After doing work for a digital marketing agency out of Idaho, the agency requested that the brothers partner with the agency and become their go to media team. Since doing this, Platinum Peek Productions has been able to serve a wide range of clientele around the nation. The young brothers refined their vision and scope of work and now focus on producing ads that directly generate sales for their clients. They also have produced numerous documentary projects of their own, one of which has become a big hit on the film festival circuit. This short documentary entitled, Two Magic Drops, was selected to eight international film festivals and has picked up awards at two of them.
The film is about Rotary International’s efforts to provide polio vaccinations to children in India. The premise of this film is a testament to the fact the Dickens brothers have made it their mission to create content that spreads awareness and educates people on existing world problems.
